| Loving Winter! |
 |
| Winter weather inevitably spurs on "bragging rights" - the coldest, the snowiest, the worst, etc. So, post your weather here - extreme or exquisite - and tell us about your snow, your temperature, or just how much you are enjoying this winter..... |

| I have a question. Can you tell us why the snow from the Weds. 2/24 storm has such a bright blue cast in the shadows? Is it the oxygen content? 2/26/10

| This morning at 6 AM it was -4 and blowing. My Standard Poodle broke the ice in a small brook to get a drink of water, got wet feet and grinned with little drops of ice forming on his beard. I instantly forgot how cold it was & remembered how much I love winter in Vermont. 1/29/10

| Anxiously seeking to enjoy winter, I managed to make it across the Connecticut border, headed north to Vermont, snowshoes in the car, and spent a brilliant sunny afternoon snowshoeing at Shelburne Farms and hiking the trails around Shelburne Bay. At breakfast Sunday morning, I scanned the real estate ads... 1/28/10

| ridiculous extended thaw conditions (in January!!) will see BTV with above freezing high temp for at least 13 consecutive days - maybe longer.... Incredible. What a waste of snow. We'll pay for this at some point - hopefully not in the summer. 1/19/10
